Wrong Tax calculation

    Hi guys,

    I have set up a shop but I skipped tax settings in the begining so I have now added all my prodcts with prices , now I want to set up tax but any option i try my product prices changing.

    Is it possible to show prices as they are now tax included and in checkout showing the tax amount on total price ?

    For example now product price 100 + 10 shipping , taxamount 23% So I want price to show like in checkout Total : 110 Tax : 25.3

    Please see screenshots and youwill know what I mean
    But Instead I am seeing wrong calculation please see screenshots , both product and delivery tax rate is 23% total price is 36.44 but it calculates tax as 6,81 this calculations is wrong I should have seen 8.38 (23% or total price)

    Can you please help me urgently as the site is live and orders coming in and clients seeing wrong tax ??

    The setup you followed, and the tax calculations in your store, are correct. I’m referring to this image:

    It’s often a bit confusing, but tax is not 23% of the end total, but rather 23% of your product/shipping before tax. Tax can be reverse engineered like so, using your scenario:

    36.44 / 1.23 = 29.63 (rounded up)
    Tax amount = 6.81

    Hope that clarifies it somewhat.
