Our website is currently being translated into English. For this purpose we have also set up new web-to-lead forms and integrated them into the website.
The fields Success Message, etc. were added to the individual forms in English. However, these are not displayed, but the messages under Basic Settings.
It is mentioned in the individual fromulars that the messages entered here will be overwritten. But this is not the case.

The linked web page is still the german variant, as the english one has not been finally published yet.

    Thanks for checking.

P.S. Feel free to let me know if i can send you printscreens

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I can’t duplicate this behavior.

If you can post a screenshot of your form settings and the incorrect output (and ideally a testable URL), I can look into it, but it does not appear to be an issue with the plugin, instead something about your environment causing the issue.

Thank you for the quick reply.

You can find three printscreens as png in the following WeTransfer link: LINK The page itself will be released next week, but I have also attached a printscreen of how the page currently responds.

The message, if a required field is left empty, is in German, although the English message is stored in the form settings.

FYI- That link isn’t working for me, I just get the WeTransfer home page.

The message, if a required field is left empty, is in German, although the English message is stored in the form settings.

Again, I cannot duplicate that issue on my test install – the message used in the one set on the form settings — is it possible your site is translating that back into german via the WP translation functions?

E.G. Is it still in German if you set it to something untranslatable?

    Hi Nick
I have now created a video. I hope it works: https://www.loom.com/share/9ce57336d9e3455d8e3459519b75419d
In the video you see first the basic settings, then the settings of the Forms 26, which should actually overwrite the basic settings. After that the integration of form 26 via code block is shown as well as the preview, where you can see that not the form settings but the basic settings are dragged.

The whole thing takes place on a page that has not yet been translated.

    Thanks a lot

Those are the field validation error messages, not the success message.

Field specific error messages are not configurable per form at this time.

The success message is configurable per form.

    Hi Nick

Okay. But then where does the message appear which can be added in the “required fields text” field? See second 00:16 – 00:19 in the video.

That appears below the form and in my testing properly overrides the global option if changed.
