wrong shortcut

  • Hi I had the wrong shortcode in my page for months. The placeholder was for someone to type there name. Of course once I needed to check for a customer months later is where I discovered I put text-10 instead of textarea-10. Is there anyway to retrieve names since I had wrong shortcode? Where there be a error log?

    Probably not – CF7 does not save form submissions by default – it just sends emails (partly cause there are significant GDPR issues).

    Many experienced CF7 users also use a plugin like Advanced Contact form 7 DB to also save CF7 form submissions for when things go wrong like this.
