Wrong shipping address although “Adress override” is checked

    Hi,

    although we have the “Address override” prevention checked (https://ibb.co/0MKV9Mw), the shipping address is still overwritten by paypal address.

    What reason can there possibly be?
    When searching for this issue the solution is always only to set this checkbox..

    Sorry, seems we found the solution.. when we also check the option “Enable to send shipping details to PayPal instead of billing.” the shipping address is sent to paypal and the order details are correct.

    So obviously the address is still taken from paypal, although “address overrride prevention” is active?

    Maybe I misunderstood this… but to me it seems this option which is always recommended here is not working.

    The ‘Address Override’ function will work in a way that if a user uses the default Paypal payment method and ‘Address Override’ option is enabled then, the address given in the checkout page cannot be changed in the Paypal side.

    However, if all the required details in the address are not present it cannot pass these details to Paypal so in such case Paypal will take the address present in their database. Similar is the case when Express buttons are used. These button will take the address from Paypal even though ‘Address Override’ option is enabled
