Wrong scheduled discounted price

    After schedule sale date ends the price is set to the discounted not to the original one.

    For instance: I set a discounted price from € 100 to € 60 until March 31, then on April 1st the price will be: € 60 !!! Not the expected € 100.

    Please not the is NOT a problem with WP cron jobs since the offer ends correctly on the scheduled date.

    Please correct this bug.

    Hi @passegua. We have not been able to replicate this issue so it doesn’t look like a general WooCommerce issue. Please check that that there is no server caching that may be affecting your site.

    I found that this bug has been reported since 2018!
    It may be easily reproduced, please read this:

    Hi @passegua. In the Github issue that you posted, the developers were not able to duplicate this issue. They shared that “Prices are saved in cache and transients, so the product page cache needs to get cleaned too. WooCommerce relies on WP-CRON to clean this cache and transients.” – https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/22069#issuecomment-573911954

    If the prices are not being updated correctly for the product, that points to an issue with WP Cron. From your system report, it does not seem to be enabled, so I would recommend looking into this in addition to server caching. For help with server caching and WP Cron, both, you can check with your host.

    My host provider wrote me “the wp cron is a function for the scheduling of wordpress processes already implemented in its core and with which Aruba (provider name)
    it does not interfere in any way. It is called up every time a user visits his site.”

    So I give up, this is too difficult to solve.
    No scheduled offer available with WooCommerce ??

    I asked my host provider and they confirmed that if the scheduled task start then WP Cron is working properly.
    So the issue is not in the WP Cron but on the plugin side since the scheduled offer start and finish correctly on the chosen time, but the error is in the price that doesn’t go back to the original one (the higher one).
    So please mark this thread NOT RESOLVED!
