Wrong redirection for Account- and User-pages

When visitors (non logged in users) visit the account-page and the user-page from main menu, they are redirected to the site front page. And not the error default text for restricted content (Ultimate Member: Content Restriction) (um_content_restriction__um_restrict_by_custom_message)
How can I show the error message instead of having the page redirect to the homepage?
