    Hi Team,

Thanks for making such great plugin. But I have some query to ask you and in variations, it coming wrong ecomm_prodid on the page.

For example, google merchants center I have a product URL like https://xyz.com/product/110-mph-sign-12w-x-18t/?attribute_style=Traditional+-+12%E2%80%B3W+x+18%E2%80%B3+T and in google merchant center the Id is the variation id of this product, not an actual product ID.

So my question is to you that suppose in URL having the ?attribute_style=Traditional+-+12%E2%80%B3W+x+18%E2%80%B3+T variation then how can I display the variation ID instead of product id.

I hope you will get back to you with my answer ASAP.

    Thanks,

    Hi multidots

The plugin doesn’t support variations so far.

You can send me the details of your use case to [email protected] and I will have a look. Maybe there is a way to implement variations.

    I need:

    Shop URL
    Google Shopping feed URL
    Merchant Center ID

    Hi Chetan

I’ve looked into possible solutions to this and decided not to implement variations at the moment.

The short answer is: Don’t worry about variations. Even if the visitor is only being served the main product he has visited (not the variations), the dynamic banner will lead to a much higher click-through-rates already.

Also look at this answer in the Google AdWords Community (coming from a Google developer): https://www.en.advertisercommunity.com/t5/Advanced-Features/Dynamic-Remarketing-Tag-amp-Multiple-Product-Options/td-p/336966#

The long answer is: The complexity of a solution to implement variations is quite high in the current configuration how variations are being displayed by WooCommerce. If we have one layer of variations (eg. only color) that’s not a big thing. But when someone decides to use two or more attributes (eg. color, size, etc.) then it really becomes a lot more difficult to implement. The benefit of such a solution is rather slim.

    Regards
    Aleks
