    The first time I uploaded the WP files to my host, it went to another domain. Then I made coststad.com with the database and I uploaded it there. I managed to log in and open the Dashboard, but when I shal see my site, there is nothing there. HTTP 404 – can not find the file.
    Do I have to delete/ reinstall my acount. And then upload all the files one more time?

  • Might try changing themes via Appearance in your admin panels.

    If that doesn’t fix the problem, you may need to reupload files. Make sure you are using the ASCII file transfer mode when uploading files.

    What is the “ASCII file transfer mode when uploading files.” ?
    I tryed to change a theme, but it didn′t work.

    Here are wp-config-sample.php file that I put in the Database info:

    // ** MySQL settings – You can get this info from your web host ** //
    /** The name of the database for WordPress */
    define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘brasilparadise’);

    /** MySQL database username */
    define(‘DB_USER’, ‘brasilparadise’);

    /** MySQL database password */
    define(‘DB_PASSWORD’, ‘apelsin’);

    /** MySQL hostname */
    define(‘DB_HOST’, ‘mysql5.uniweb.no’);

    /** Database Charset to use in creating database tables. */
    define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);

    /** The Database Collate type. Don’t change this if in doubt. */
    define(‘DB_COLLATE’, ”);

    Your database is working okay.

    It’s possible your files didn’t get uploaded completely intact to your host.

    When I tryed to go in my controlpanel for my host, I came to the theme that I set in the Dashboard …
    Can it be a link or someting inside the dashboard, that is set wrong?

    I have deleted and uploaded the files to the server many times now, so I dont think it can be done in an other way.

    You can′t upload your WP-files to one directory and then delete them, for so upload them to a new directory. Then wp will send youre files to the first directory you used…

    don′t ask me how it wore solved, the hosting-people did it for me
