Any update? Do you need information from us to test? In general, we’ve seen a lot of issues with this plugin and variable products; it seems that development may not be complete for variable products.

@erikttllc seems like you fixed it? Having the same problems so would love to hear your solution.

We haven’t found a fix and haven’t heard from softound.

I think what may be going on is that the system defaults to show the “least positive” stock result for variable products before a selection is made. It should show the “most positive” option within the variations; this will increase conversion.

I’ve got the same issue with my variable products. I’m in the middle of trying to get my head around importing the new stock status.

    Hi,

We checked the issue and unable to replicate, can you create a new product in our demo website to replicate the scenario. and send us the product link you created.

    I created a product here:
    https://demo.softound.com/woo-custom-stock-status/wp-admin/post.php?post=169&action=edit

This product has some problems, but not the same problems in our site. See the notes in the product description.

Adding price for all variation can solve the issue(ie: it will remove the “This product is currently out of stock and unavailable” status and show back order status in listing and details pages)

I used the example with the same product above and the problem is not fixed:

    This is the step-by-step detail:

    SETTINGS:

1- Woocommerce Custom Stock Status (settings):
    – Available on backorder = empty (same as filled)
    – Show Stock Status in Shop Page: True

2- Product page variations settings (All):
    – Price= 418
    – Allow back orders? = “Allow but notify the customer”
    – Stock= 0
    – Available on backorder= “End of November”

    RESULTS:

    3- Product list page:
    – Status: “Available on backorder” (or what was set in step 1)

    4- Product detail page:
    – Status (once you select the variation in the combo box ): “End of November”

    Any suggestions?
