Wrong number of subscribers

I have 160 subscribers to my list “New article”. When I decide to send a newsletter and I select list “New article”, it is shown only 62 subscribers (and send only to 62 people). Do you know why?

MailPoet will send newsletters only to “Subscribed” subscribers. If you have 160 subscribers added to your list, but only 62 are listed as “Subscribed”, that’s why you’re seeing a different number when selecting this list to send your newsletter to.

You can go to the MailPoet > Lists page and check how many subscribers on the “New article” list you have on each status category.

In MailPoet > Lists page, I can see my list “New article” with 64 subscribers and 94 inactifs (so a total of 158). So it means email sent to “New article” list are not sent to inactives subscribers?

Yes, that’s correct. The inactive subscriber feature automatically marks subscribers who have opened no newsletters in the last 6 months as inactive to improve your open rates and ensure you don’t send to invalid emails.
