• Hello,

I noticed on our WordPress installation (which is in German) that nothing of the plugin was translated even when the wp-store-locator-de_DE.mo was in the /wp-content/languages/plugins/ directory. After I renamed it there to wpsl-de_DE.mo (which matched the name of the domain of the plugin) it worked.

Does all languages files which are not included in the plugin main package have the wrong names?

    Kai

You can see the translation files that ship with the plugin here, they are all named correctly.

I suspect WordPress itself downloaded the ‘wp-store-locator-de_DE.mo’ from somewhere.

    Hello,

I spent a few hours on the same problem before discover this solution!

    I also renamed :
    “wp-store-locator-fr_FR.po” –> wpsl-fr_FR.po
    “wp-store-locator-fr_FR.mo” –> wpsl-fr_FR.mo

It worked for me and translations immediately showed up.

I think there is a problem with Translate.www.remarpro.com with plugin file name or something like that.
