Wrong multilingual URLs listed

    Hi!

    I hope you are fine. And thanks for your work on this plugin. ??

    We installed it for our webiste and found an issue. Our site is multilingual site using PolyLang, and has several custom post types that use custom URLs.

    We found out that in these post types are listed correctly in the original language (English), but not in the others. URLs are listed like this:

    It is strange that these unwanted URLs apparently redirect to the correct URLs. So:

    Just regenerated the permalinks again, to be sure. And the issue is still there.

    @kram09890, we tried duplicating this use case ourselves and couldn’t find an issue. Would you mind emailing us so we can perform a deeper investigation?

    They fixed it a couple of weeks ago, at least for my case.

    But they asked me to get the plugin from their GitHub repo, so I guess it may not be ready thourgh WordPress updates.

    Try just downloading the whole repository via Clone > ZIP.

    If you read the text in that seme page, you will see that they are at the 4.1.20 (2024-03-23).

    I believe I just did that.

    4.1.20 doesn’t fix my problem, even after clearing the cache and re-publish the page ??

    A new error in the master, tested with PHP 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3 :

    Deprecated: Optional parameter $args declared before required parameter $gsg is implicitly treated as a required parameter in /wp-content/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/class-googlesitemapgeneratorstandardbuilder.php on line 1166

    The custom post slug doesn’t work, I’ve got :

    /artistes/thandiwe-newton/
    /en/thandiwe-newton/

    Instead of :

    /artistes/thandiwe-newton/
    /en/artists/thandiwe-newton/
