    Hi Asgaros,

    I have 2 categories, 3 topics for each category. MEN-ONLY and WOMEN-ONLY

    Anyway, it shows funky links For TOPIC-1 JACKET. It listed combination name link set, it included uniform , bike?
    ** Isn’t should be man-only-jacket?

    Then for TOPIC-2 UNIFORM, it’s showing women-only-uniform? Instead, it should be men-only-uniform. Because it’s in the MEN’S CATEGORY.

    ———————————————————————-
    CATEGORY = MEN ONLY

    TOPIC-1 JACKET
    //mysite.com/men-only/forum/men-only-jacket-uniform-bike/

    TOPIC-2 UNIFORM
    //mysite.com/men-only/forum/women-only-uniform/

    TOPIC-3 BIKE
    //mysite.com/men-only/forum/men-bike-only/

    ——————————————————————–
    I even clicked permalink 50+ times. Still showing different links. But it goes to the correct page/topic tho??? freaky!!!!

    Please advise how to correct the links if permalink is not helping?

    Hey @damndramaqueen,

    I guess you named these forums differently before. Asgaros Forum creates the slugs only one time on the creation of the forum. That’s important because the slug should not change if you rename a topic since all the links that are already listed in google would show a 404 error.

    I’ve already added a feature request on GitHub to rename the slugs:
    https://github.com/Asgaros/asgaros-forum/issues/302

    So for now you would have to edit your database directly. Please make a backup of your database before editing it!!

    Go to the table “wp_forum_forum” and search the forum that you want to edit. You can change the slug by editing the value of the column slug. Keep in mind that the slug has to be unique and that there are no special characters allowed.
