Do You have the site address?

the site is panamasolucioneslogisticas.com I managed to work around it by not using customs permalinks option and disabling the use of prefix by default.

However Now I’m having an issue generating the sitemap for the spanish version, could you please advice which would be the best way to generate the entire sitemap for both the english and spanish version

What are You using for generation the sitemap?
WP Multilang support YOAST SEO sitemap.

was using All SEO and google xml sitemap, will have a try and will let you know,

Yoast SEO with WP Multilang generate multilingual sitemap by Google guideline https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2620865?hl=en.
In All-In-One SEO Pack is no possibility for adding additional links to sitemap for each post or term as it possibly in Yoast SEO.
