    I installed WooCommerce into my WordPress site which is using Bridge theme, but I am not able to change the language. It’s always displayed in english but I need to change it to german. While looking at the folder structure inside FTP access I can only see files which contain the correct language code (de_AT) but still all default WooCommerce pages are shown in english.

    /wp-content/languages -> correct language files de_AT

    /wp-content/languages/plugins/ -> woocommerce-payments-de_AT.json

    WordPress language and profile language is also set to german.
    Does anyone know what to do?

    Help very appreciated, thanks!

    Are you using a multi-language plugin or just trying to change the default language?

    Sometimes, you need to redownload translation, by going to Dashboard -> updates -> scrolling all the way down and clicking download translation.

    It’s just a single language website (set to german).

    The download button isn’t shown in the dashboard.
    I only see this message at the bottom: All translations are up to date.

    Hello @combi35,

    structure inside FTP access I can only see files which contain the correct language code (de_AT) but still all default WooCommerce pages are shown in english.

    Perhaps your theme is overriding the behaviour of these pages. :?)

    Could you please attach a copy of your site’s System Status report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

    Look forward to hearing back from you.
