Wrong language

    Hi,

    I have an issue with the Cookie Policy page showing up in the wrong language. The website is in Dutch, but uses Polylang for a second language (English). The Cookie Policy page only shows up in English… instead of Dutch.

    I have reset the Complianz settings. The default language in Polylang is Dutch. I also followed the polylang guide. I also cleared the cache and hard refreshed the pages. I can’t get the page to show up in the default Dutch language.

    I hope that there is a solution for this, because I think it is a great plugin.

    Hi @vectordavid,

    Assuming that you had indeed created Dutch and English variants of the Cookie Policy page as per the instructions listed here, but the Dutch translations do not yet show up while visiting the Dutch page, this might be related to one of the following things:

    #1: Translation files not updated

    You might need to update your translation files under Dashboard > Updates in WordPress before the page appears fully translated.

    #2: URL modifications setting in PolyLang

    It could also be due to a certain configuration in PolyLang concerning “URL modifications” (found under Languages > Settings > URL Modifications).

    The URL modifications option in PolyLang should be set to a setting such as “The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks”, instead of “The language is set from content”.
