    Hi,

it’s some days that the invoice numbers are wrong, I’m using WooCommerce Italian Add-on Plus to create Invoices, and with your plugin enabled I miss some numbers (I attach a link to an image to better understand)

You can use our free Number Tools extension to track your invoice numbers and see where they were created. You can download it here: WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips Number Tools.

It will create a Number Tools tab under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices
    number-tools-tab

    number-tools-tab-settings-main

    Let us know your findings

It seems there is possibly some sort of race condition between the invoice plugins.Does this error still occur when you disable either plugin and do a test purchase?

For sure I know that doesn’t occur if your plugin is disabled, I need the other one because in Italy we need to invoice in a special mode (I’m not able to translate Fattura elettronica), and WooCommerce Italian Add-on Plus do this.

WooCommerce Italian Add-on seems to recommend our plugin to create the invoices. However, it seems that you have the plugin generating invoices as well? If this is the case, is there an option to internally turn of it’s invoice creation and only allow our plugin to create the PDFs?

I’ve the same problem on some sites, now I’m trying on one to disable Italian Add-on and use you (amazing) plugin to create numbers.
    Thanks

Did doing so resolve your issue?

In first site yes, now I’m trying on another one.
BTW, is there a way to generate an invoice for an old order, created before I installed your plugin?

To regenerate an old invoice (while keeping the invoice number & date), you can temporarily enable the option ‘Always use most current settings’ under WooCommerce > PDF Invoices > Documents > Invoice. Any invoices you open while this setting is enabled will be updated with the latest information. I recommend disabling the option again after making the changes, as generally you don’t want existing invoices to be altered after they have been issued. You can also delete the invoice with the trash can icon (in the order details page on the ‘PDF document data’ tab), but this also clears the invoice number & date.

None of this methods works, also I don’t have all icone that you have ??

That button would regenerate an invoice with updated information that wasn’t available at the time it was generate, such as a change in the shop name. To create a new invoice, you only need to click the ‘PDF Invoice’ button in the ‘Create PDF’ panel. So long as the invoice is enabled, this button should appear

Many thanks for your support, that button appears if I uncheck “use latest information”, when if I click it I’ve the message “Are you sure you want…” after this I click the button “Generate PDF”, but it opens a 404 page ??

That’s a bit odd. You can disable the “Use latest settings” option and that go back to the order and click the “PDF invoice” invoice button in the “Create PDF” panel that appears where the Order notes panel does.

I tried several setting combination, enabled, disabled, invoice deleted and recreate, every time I see a 404 page ??

BTW I’ve again the problem that some number is skipped

Does the error occur when you reactivate the Italian plugin? What version of our plugin are you running? Are you using a custom template?

Also, could you share a screenshot of the order details page of the order, please?
