Wrong image size

    We recently updated woocommerce from 4.6 to version 7.3. After the update the newly added products have the wrong image dimensions on the shop page. While the old product images are displayed correctly. We have tried to set the image size with the customizer but that did nothing. How can we fix the image size on the shop page so that it’s the same size as before?

    I understand that updating WooCommerce resulted in your new product images displaying the incorrect dimensions, correct?

    As a first step, please can you can navigate to?WooCommerce?→?Status?→?Tools?and do the following to see if it makes any difference:

    • Clear WooCommerce transients
    • Clear expired transients
    • Recount terms
    • Regenerate Product lookup tables
    • Regenerate shop thumbnails

    If this makes no difference, could you please share a copy of your sites System Status Report which you can find by navigating to?WooCommerce?→?Status. Select?Get system report?and then?Copy for support.

    Once you have this, please share the results in your response here.

    Additionally, please can you share a direct link to a product that has been affected by the update, as well as a screenshot of what you are seeing on your end for that same product.

    Snipboard.io?can be used for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on that page, then paste the URL in this thread.

    Hi Roxy,

    Thank you for you reply. Updating WooCommerce resulted indeed in displaying the incorrect dimensions for the products. We are having this problem on 2 sites.

    We have tried the options:

    • Clear WooCommerce transients
    • Clear expired transients
    • Recount terms
    • Regenerate Product lookup tables
    • Regenerate shop thumbnails

    But it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

    The product pages are showing the images in the correct dimensions. It’s the shop page that doesn’t show the newly added images in the correct dimension. The page where it is not showing correctly is https://www.antiquesportsbooks.com/shop/

    The 3 images on the left have the correct size and the last one has the wrong size.
    On https://www.sportboek.nl/shop-sportboek-nl/ we have the same problem.

    The images above all have the wrong size

    The green ones have the correct dimensions and the 2 in between have the wrong dimensions.

    A new version of WooCommerce has been rolled out, which is the 7.0.4, you can update it to see if this makes a difference.

    You can try one of the plugins available in the www.remarpro.com repository here to help you resize the images and thumbnails.

    Let us know how that goes.

    We have updated WooCommerce with version 7.4.0 but it did not make a difference. Nothing has changed after regeration of the thumbnails.

    To clarify, if you temporarily switch the site’s theme to Storefront is the issue still present?

    If not, can you check these recommendations to see if that helps to solve this issue on your end? How To Change Product Image Sizes

    We have temporarily switched to the storefront theme and then the images are shown in the correct format.
    The theme we are using for the site is Enfold. Do you think that there is a problem with enfold an woocommerce? And how can we solve this?

    Thanks for providing an update!

    If the issue is no longer present when switching to the Storefront theme, and you can confirm that it reappears when switching back to the Enfold theme, then this confirms that the issue is related to the theme you are using (Enfold).

    Since support for third-party themes/plugins is outside our scope of support, I’d suggest reaching out to the theme developers for further help with this.

    It was indeed an issue with the enfold theme. I had to add the code below in functions.php and after adding that is is working perfectly
