    Hello Elementor Team,
I am facing an issue when adding thumbnail images to my blog. For some images Elementor is adding “/elementor/thumbs/” to the path of the image. In that case the image won′t be shown in the blog because of the wrong image path. Other image don′t have this wrong path. How does it come that sometimes images have the right and sometimes the wrong image path? In my media center all paths are correct.
    Thank you.

  • Hi @tm86 ,

Please try these methods and tell us if they helped:

Regenerate the CSS via Elementor > Tools > Regenerate CSS on your WordPress Dashboard.

Go to Elementor > Settings on your WordPress dashboard.
Click the Advanced tab and then switch the CSS print method to Internal embedding.

Clear all cache: your browser’s cache, other plugins’ cache, and server cache (if possible).

Switch the CSS print method back after following these steps, regardless if it helped or not.

If it doesn’t help, it might be possible that a plugin/ theme conflict can cause the issue, try to deactivate your plugins one by one and check if it helps in each deactivation.

Switching to a default WP theme will also rule a theme conflict.`

I found the solution to be based on NOT CHOOSING custom size for the image you are working on. I had an SVG that was not loading because it had /elementor/thumb/ in the url. Once I tried “Large” instead of “Custom” the issue resolved itself. This appears to me to be a bug in Elementor. I feel like that URL is actually used by the GUI during admin but is somehow being written into the live site. It will show correctly in the builder initially but if you wait for an autosave, it will error out as well.

I tried all of the items in this thread before discovering that the size fixed it.
