Wrong Homepage Neta Description

    Hi,

    I realized after installing Yoast SEO premium. My Homepage meta Description is not correctly appearing on Google.

    When i search with site:opportunitiescorners.com (Homepage Description on Google shows fine)

    but with opportunitiescorners.com on Google homepage description not showing.

    Can you please check? is there something wrong in settings?

    I have didn’t changed Meta Description of Homepage vis Homepage Editor.

    Thanks for reaching out about your search appearance. I checked the page source and here’s the meta description:

    <meta name="description" content="Opportunities Corners is a valuable source for finding Fully Funded Scholarships, Internships, online courses, and Exchange Programs." />

    Does this match what you have entered in the Yoast SEO plugin?

    Yoast SEO doesn’t give an option for Homepage. Instead in Yoast SEO it says edit the homepage yourself.

    So on the homepage i have set that meta description the one u sent.

    If you don’t have the homepage option in Yoast SEO > Settings > Content Types, it means you have a custom homepage.

    I hope the issue is resolved now
