• This has only happened since the upgrade to 4.0.

I add a lot of links manually to my articles, and got used to a routine of:

highlight text, click “add link”, CTRL-V, ENTER

In the previous version, this was possible as, by default, the URL field was pre-selected at the “https://” default text selected to be over-written if needed.

    Now it’s:

highlight text, click “add link”, click URL box, highlight/delete default text, CTRL-V, ENTER

So take a bit longer. Yes, I know it’s a minor issue but these are the kind of niggles that slow things down. Was there a reason for the change or is this just something that’s slipped through because it takes someone as picky as myself to notice it? ??
