Wrong encoding in CSV file

  • Hi, help please.
    I using UTF-8 encoding of my site and database (for Cyrillic text).
    After exporting there is wrong symbols in the file instead of the cyrillic text

    how to fix it?
    plugin v2.1.6

    1. Check if you’ve checked Fix weird characters in csv option under advanced options settings on order export settings page. If not, please check and save the settings.

    2. Please let me know which editor you are using to view the file. Please try to open in Notepad++ and let me know if it has same issue.

    Ankit Gade, Thank you for fast answer!
    1) yes, Fix weird characters is checked.
    2) I tryed open csv in prehistoric ms-excel(2007)
    – it’s ok in notepad++

    It seems editor issue. You’ve to check encoding type in MS-Excel and try changing it to UTF-8 (or some other options)
