Hello, I’m creating a feed for google, but there is a element in the (xml) feed, while Google requires . This is why the feed is not working. So is the only option to make a custom template or can it be fixed somehow in the pre-prepared template?
    Thanks

  • Hello @polakr,

    Thanks for reaching us,

So far, it seems like you’re creating a feed with a Google Shopping template but having an issue with XML format. Can you please describe the issue you’re facing? I can ensure that the format of the Google Shopping template is valid, as thousands of users upload their products using the template. If you’re experiencing any issues, there might be another reason. Could you please specify the issue you’re facing? Once we have identified the issue, we can find a possible solution for you. Additionally, you can create the feed in different formats, such as csv, and share the feed link.

Yes, yes, I know that a lot of people use that template, so I probably wouldn’t be the first to notice the mistake. Well, this feed is https://insideu.cz/wp-content/uploads/woo-feed/google/xml/insideugoogle.xml
and the problem is that the validator writes that the element link should look like g:link. And it further writes that for some products the element g:price contains an invalid value.

    Hi @polakr

We’ve configured the feed according to Google’s feed specifications. As you can see here, the GMC feed spec does not require using ‘g’ for the link field, but for the image field, it does, as shown here. Therefore, the format is correct, and you can proceed with uploading it to GMC.

However, there is an issue with the price field where I noticed a space between the price value. This could lead to errors. Please check the WooCommerce separator settings and ensure you are not using a space as thousand separator.

    Thank you,

Thanks a lot, I didn’t think that the space between the numbers in the price would be a problem. The link is fine, the error was in the validator I used :-/
