Wrong discount percentage

    Hello, I need help with the Woocommerce plugin.

    I have a product that is variable and some of the variables are on sale and some are not. The promotional price is displayed as a percentage. However, the percentage is displayed incorrectly, more precisely it is displayed based on the highest price within the entire variable product instead of being displayed based on the variable that is on sale.

    In the picture below, it can be seen that the product is variable. The red product is currently at a special price of 50 from the standard 100, which is a 50% discount. While the price of the blue product is 200 and it is not currently on sale. However, WooCommerce shows a percentage of -75% instead of -50%

    For better assistance, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.?

    Are you using a plugin to set up discounts per variation? Can you provide a link to the product you are showing in the screenshots? That way we can check better, thank you.

    sorry for the late response I was out of the office. We are using the standard Woocommerce option for discounts. I can provide a link.

    Here is another example where all variations have a different standard and discount price. The discount is stated as 89%, but not a single item is at such a high discount.

    Thank you for providing all the information above.

    After trying to replicate the problem locally I remembered that WooCommerce doesn’t show the discount in percentage but rather just a SALE badge.

    I can see your theme is overriding some WooCommerce templates so this is probably added by the theme. I suggest reaching out to your theme author and seeing what they have to say about it as this is not a WooCommerce feature by default.
