Hi, I have been exploring your plugin for the past 2 hours and I have noticed some strange behaviour (I am only interested in postview showing up in admin post view).

Lets say I have a post Clouds and I want to search it in Google Analytics (Behaviour -> Site Content -> All pages), I would get something like this:

    pageviews:
    /Clouds 300
    /Clouds/ 200
    /Clouds/a-picture-of-cloud 10
    /Clouds/a-picture-of-cloud-12/ 10
    /Clouds/a-picture-of-cloud-4/ 5
    /Clouds/a-picture-of-cloud-7/ 1

All together that is 526 pageviews, but it is actually misleading since it is including page attachments, and this number is showing as a number of my post in admin post list.

Also, data is scarce, it shows postview for only like 20-30 posts (and for some of them postview is strangely low), while I have about 1500 posts (with many views according to Google Analytics).
But if I search for specific post (in WordPress, on regular posts list) then data will show correct number (or something similar – probably with included its attachment views) and if then I refresh the list (sorted by postviews), this post will come up. I have tried that with a few posts, do I have to let the plugin rest for few days before showing everything correctly?

BTW it would be cool if we could choose if we want regular pageviews or unique pageviews to show (or both?) ??

    Hello,

The request to the GA API is made based only on the post URL and not the attachments.

About the data being scarce, the requests are sent to GA but if you tried to get all of the data too quickly you’ve probably been throttled by the GA API ; so yeah you should wait a little and it’ll show up eventually.

About the unique pageviews setting, I just added it ??
