    When an order is placed that is not my base currency, my users are being charged the same amount but in my base currency. For example a user from US seeing the pricing in the card and checkout as $45 but the credit card is charged €45 by my Braintree account

    This issue is with Braintree payment plugin.
    I tested this by deactivating our plugin. When i go to WooCommerce settings to change store currency and place an order, the credit card is charged correct amount but the same currency of your Braintree account.

    Yes confirmed it. The issue was the $ merchant account was not setup in Braintree and was accepting transaction only in the base currency. Once I setup the additional merchant to process $ all started working correctly.
