    Hi,

I’d like to use the Live Weather Station plugin on my website. However, when I try to connect my Netatmo account, I get the message “Wrong credentials. Please, verify your login and password.”

I’m using the correct login and password for my Netatmo account.

Any ideas what could be going wrong? If I type the account details in several times, my Netatmo account eventually locks, which suggests that something is going through to Netatmo… but the login and password that I’m typing in is definitely correct (to the point where I’ve logged out of Netatmo and logged back in on the Netatmo website, to confirm that the login and password is correct).

  • WOW! You block the server to server communication? OMG! But why? You should have told me ; this is actually and definitively the problem. What I can tell you is that the plugin will not work as long as this “feature” is activated…
So… Can you confirm that if you temporarily deactivate this feature, the plugin is working correctly?

Also off it does not work, maybe it ‘also a problem of doors?
altervista only accepts 80 (http) e 443 (https).

The Netatmo API respond on 443 port, and the sdk grabb it via https, so it’s not a port issue.
I think your hosting provider have configured special things. I think you should contact them to tell them that you can not make cURL to external addresses from your server. They should know what the problem is … and how to change the configuration.

Keep me informed of the result, it puzzles me that an hosting provider prevents a server to make external requests…
