Wrong Canonical url for Author page

    Hi,

    Could you try and edit that author page and check if there’s any current output for the Canonical URL field in the advanced tab in the Yoast SEO meta box?

    Thanks for your help,

    there is no real page for authors in wordpress, i can just edit the user profile. And there is not canonical url field in this profile page.

    I have the same issue. There is no advanced tab on the user profile pages, and no canonical field to edit. Please develop and add this function.
