Wrong author/no author showing up

  • Hi, could you try toggling screen options (top right area of screen) from the posts editor?

    Then place a checkmark in the author option. That should add an author box to the posts editor. Now switch the author from the admin to the new user and save changes to the post.

    Then repeat the last step above for any other posts that you need to re-assign.

    The problem is not on my dashboard. It’s the name showing up on the website, which right now is none… my theme has an author little icon, and that one is showing up, but next to it there is no name
