Wrong attributes order when sorted numerically

    Hello, I have a size attribute used for variable products. I have set the sorting to “Name (numeric)”, it works great for numerical sizes, e.g.:

    34, 35, 36, 37
    75 B, 75 C, 80 B, 80 D, 120 D

    etc., but when using alphabetical sizes, it puts XL before L, which is wrong:

    S, M, XL, L

    Is there any way to fix this automatically? Setting the sort method to custom ordering is out of the question since I am already using almost 300 sizes.
