My WordPress Admin/Dashboard language set via User Profile (English) is different than site language set via General Settings (Italian), and now Duplicate Post uses wrongly for admin the site language instead of the correct admin language.

Is there a way to switch admin language also for Duplicate Post?

    Thanks for your attention!

    Hi @tropauer,
I tried in a number of sites of mine but couldn’t reproduce the bug: Duplicate Post’s option page and links use the right admin language (the one set via user profile); it only switches to the site language (the one set via SettingsGeneral) when looking at the site frontend (that means that the admin bar link is in the site language, just like all the content in the admin bar).

Which version of the plugin and of WordPress are you using?
Does the problem happen to any other plugin you are using? (e.g. a pluin having a options page in the wrong language)
Do you have any language plugin installed, like WPML or Polylang?

    Let me know!

    Hi Lopo,

Thank you for the quick reply!

I’m using WordPress 4.8.3. Duplicate Post is version 3.2., just installed today.

I’ve checked and found that an another plugin (WP Cerber Security & Antispam) is showing now everything in Italian while the admin language set in the profile is English. All the other plugins use English.

I’m not using any language plugin.

    It’s very strange…

    Hi @tropauer,
    that’s strange indeed…
I’d suggest you to try disable every other plugin, one by one, to find out if one of them is responsible of this issue.
Another thing to try is to reinstall WP (you can do it on DashboardUpdates), or disable and delete my plugin then reinstall it…

    Let me know

    Hi Lopo,

I’ve followed your advice to test to disable every other plugin and I’ve found that the problem is present only if the AMP for WP plugin is activated.
If AMP for WP is disabled Duplicate Post and Cerber Security & Antispam plugins both use the correct language.

Now I’m going to contact the AMP for WP support for this problem.

    Thank you for your help!

Yes Lopo. The AMP for WP plugin have not reached yet the 1.0 version, but the team is very helpful and I’m sure that they will fix it.

    Thank you again!
