writing a product description

  • I want to have a product description not show up until the image and title have been selected. Then when the item or title have been selected it takes you to a page specific to what you clicked and no longer includes the other products that were listed on the previous page. Then on this newly selected page is where the product description appears to you for the first time. Currently when I write a product description it appears immediately on the same product listing page that is shared with other products. I do not like this. Please make it go away.

    Does anyone know what Im talking about? Almost all professional looking sites don’t show a product description until you select the item you are looking for

    Are you using a plugin? Or what theme? WordPress itself does not have products or ecommerce.

    thanks for response. the only activated plugins are marketpress lite and jetpack…using twenty eleven as theme… If these aren’t my source of ecommerce than what is?

    or maybe someone could tell me if there are other plug ins I can use in place of the ones that were used on my site? If so I’m not sure how to put in a different plug in
