    I have a magazine and various writers send in articles.
    I added an article on the writers name and that is what it displays on my word press, however on the website where the article is published, the name displayed is my log in.
    I have tried to change it several times and update it but it still stays the same.
    Please advise.

  • Are we talking about two websites here? Or when you say my word press do you mean when you’re in the Dashboard?

    Can you create a screengrab and link to it from here, showing what you’re seeing?

    Do you have some form of plugin that allows co-authors?

    Yes, co authors can be put and I added 2 names but still it does not change.!!!

    Yes, the problem still persists for me

    Please help me with this.
    I have been trying this for a few days now.
    There is only 1 person who has access to the word press dashboard and can write all the names of the authors and post the articles.
    However since the past few days it’s not possible to change the names of the authors.

    What happens if you create a logion for the author, login as the author, create the post and then publish it?

    How do I create the log in for the author? there was someone who had created the other admin one and he is not available now so I don’t know how to create the new log ins.

    Navigate to Users -> Add new.

    should I add as user or author or editor?
    I tried user and it said, this email add is already registered.

    Add the new user as an Author or Contributir. and you will need to use a new/unique email address for each user that you register in this way.
