Writer forgets options (using Firefox private mode)

  • Hi,
    I am using Firefox 67 with permanent private browsing mode.
    Every time I close the tab with my page admin and reopen it – writer shows tips (which were previously disabled in writer options) and forgets all other changes I made in writer. This is very annoying.

    Can I get rid of writer tips without changing my browser settings?

    I am using latest WordPress version with Multisite enabled.
    Disabling all plugins doesn’t help.

    Those options are saved in cookies. When you use private mode, FF won’t accept the cookies, so every time WP sees you, from a new browser session or a new tab, you’re a new person. If you want it all to work, enable cookies from www.remarpro.com.

    Thank you. I hoped it is just a bug but it seems that Writer works the way it was created. Old writer didn’t have this problem so I will probably start using it again.
