    Maybe reuploading your admin folder solves the problem. I would try that first.

    I’m having the same problem, there’s no uploads folder in my wp-content folder anyway? So I made one, and tried to do the 777 thing, but no luck again, my first day with wordpress has been crappy.

    The upload folder should be /wp-content/uploads/.

    Maybe you can also search if there has been a bug report about this:
