If I try to import into WordPress from WordPress, I get an error saying:

Unable to create directory /home/keverdy/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2012/04. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I checked “2012”, “uploads”, and “wp-content”, and all their permissions are at “0777”, so I have no idea what the problem is nor how to fix it.

I just updated WordPress to 3.3.1 and I still have this problem.

Try asking your hosts to check whether you have a folder ownership issue.

I just found the issue for this. I’m so silly! In the Media Settings page, the “Store uploads in this folder” had the wrong directory! Woops. Now it is fixed and working.
