Wrapping Text – Again…

Wrapping text round images is defying all efforts to achieve. Have tried all the suggestions for older versions of WP – no luck. Even the CaptionPix plugin doesn’t work. (Tho in fairness unsure whether this is yet compatible with 4.0)
What I’m trying to achieve is to position an image on the left, halfway down a page, and simply wrap text round it.
What’s happening is that the image is obligingly on the left – and the text is underneath it.
