wrap text around pic in CUSTOM theme?

hi everyone!

i know this has been asked before, but i can’t fix it… i’ve added what should be the right code to my css file…

but when i refresh pages, the text doesn’t wrap around the pictures

will this only work on new posts i make after i edited the css??

any help would be greatly apprecaited!
