WR pagebuilder slows down site

  • Hi

    when i enable pagebuilder my site gets very very slow (for every page I have to wait 7 seconds..)
    The moment I disable WR pagebuilder plugin, it goes to 2 or 3 seconds…
    Even after updating to the latest version (2.4.11) the problem is still there

    What could be causing this ?
    I use WR pagebuilder also for another wordpress site and there it works fine. It looks like a conflict with the theme ?

  • I need a solution to this also; seriously compromising the speed of my site and I cannot even open a page in the back-end.

    Or else kindly provide an alternative plugin which can grab and display the same data (Like Visual Composer) as I can’t de-activate the plugin. De-activating your Plugin dramatically speeds up the site instantly.

    I’m also experiencing huge problems with performance when WR is involved. I’m not sure if it’s related, but when editing a page I frequently get a 404, either loading the Edit page or when saving.

    It’ll spend > 60 seconds trying to load the edit page, or do the safe, before presenting me with a 404. Refreshing the page usually works to resolve the issue and carry on working.
