    Hello,

    I just hired a hosting provider and am trying to use WPVivid Backup to migrate my WordPress website from localhost to it. Unfortunately, WPVivid keeps throwing this error:

    wpvivid_request: error(): an error occurred when trying to establish communication with your server. This error may be request not reaching or server not responding. Please try again later.

    What could be the cause? Do I need to do anything else other than install WordPress, then WPVivid, then migrate? I had done this before and it worked fine, as far as I remember, and it was even the same hosting provider.

    I don’t know if it makes any difference but I’m using Cloudfare’s DNS.

    Hello @zehgs ,

    Where did you face the error? Did it appear on the source site or the target site?

    It is highly recommended to build a local site on WAMP/XAMPP as WPvivid plugin works flawlessly on them.

    If the error occurred on the target site, when the error is popping up, open your browser’s developer console (press F12 on Chrome) and navigate to Console and Network tabs to check if there are any errors displayed or not. If yes, reach out to your webhost and fix the errors first.

    Thank you very much for the fast reply! In the end I used All-in-on WP Migration or whatever it’s called. I think it was a problem with my hosting provider. I appreciate the extremely fast reply and left a 5.0 review for you guys. Thanks a lot!
