    Hello there!
I have a website where we are two admins, the main one, and a second one with slightly less user roles than the full admin. Only the full admin can see and use the WPvivid menu in the admin menu bar.
What can I do to allow the second admin user to see it and use it?
I could not find any documentation or settings where one could setup the WPvivid plugin in a way that it expressly allows certain user roles to use it.
Could you please help me in this matter? thanks in advance!

I am using the free plugin “WPvivid Backup”.

    Hello @horiamar

You can use the ‘roles and capabilities’ addon in the pro version to achieve that. It allows you to set up a super admin user which can control access to specific functions of the plugin for other user roles including admin role.

well, thanks for your fast reply. But I still don’t understand what is happening: as long as I have two admin users, why is only one of them able to see the WPvivid menu and the other one not? What is the rule for being able to see it? Aside of needing to buy the pro version? ??
    thanks in advance!

As far as I can now understand after various tests, the WPvivid plugin does not allow access to it from any other “customized” admin user, but only from “authentic” (full) admin users. This should be the correct answer to my question.

Additionally, one can add other “non-full admin users” (customized user roles) to the list of users who can use the WPvivid plugin, but only in the PRO version, by using an addon (also to be paid separately?!).

    Exactly.

The ‘roles and capabilities’ addon works based on full admin users. All current addons are free to pro version users.

Let us know if you need any further information.
