WPtouch and Yoast Duplicate Titles in Google WMT

  • Hi,

    Google webmaster tools is reporting that I have both duplicate meta descriptions and duplicate title tags, these are occuring on the mobile version of the site. The mobile version is created using WPTouch.

    The website for WPTouch says they have fixed this isue in v.3.06 but it is definitely still occuring, unless it is caused by a conflict with Yoast.

    Can anyone offer a solution?

    I have tried using the URL Paramter in Google WMT to tell it not to crawl WPTouch_switch URLs. Google has since revisited and I now have more ‘Duplicate Meta Descriptions and Duplicate Title Tags’ than before!

    Unsure how to resolve this and I think it is having a large impact on ranking currently.

    Any ideas?
