wpstats shows two copies of URL – separate stats

I use wpstats at https://www.gdanmitchell.com. At some point I ended up with two entries for this URL in the popup menu listing my sites. One shows stats from when I first set up the WP blog and current stats over the past couple months or so. The other shows stats from the time between the early/recent stats shown by selecting the first entry in the list. To make up numbers:

First popup menu entry for https://www.gdanmitchell.com shows
first few months of site stats
large gap of several months or longer with no stats
most recent few months of stats

Second popup menu entry for https://www.gdanmitchell.com shows
no stats from first few months
stats for the following several months or longer
no stats for the past few months

The stats from the two popups are exclusive, in other words they do not overlap their coverage.

I suspect that anyone looking at my current stats and not realizing that they have to look at both “versions” of my report either a) wonders why my blog either disappeared for many months or is only a couple months old, or b) wonders why my blog went away a few months ago.

I need to a) end up with only a single entry in the popup menu on my stats page and b) have that entry show the complete stats history for my URL.

I’ve searched on this topic, found other posts (quite a few, actually) reporting the issue, a number of closed threads, but so far no solution.
