wpsolr woo product_tag not indexing

    The wpsolr plugin is working, but not quite as expected. It is not returning woocommerce product tags. In wpsolr, I enabled the Custom taxonomies to be indexed: product_cat and product_tag. Product category works, but it always worked, even with the default WP search. Other Indexing Options enabled: post, page, product, product_variation, shop_order, shop_webhook (tried both: shop_webhook enabled and disabled). Using the search page created by wpsolr, I searched for a product tag: no luck. I searched for product attributes: no luck. Any ideas?

    You are correct.

    WPSOLR 2.1 only searches in categories taxonomy, not in custom taxonomies.
    (But custom taxonomies are indexed and can be displayed in facets)

    I fixed that in the new release WPSOLR 2.2, and tested it on WooCommerce product_cat and product_tag taxonomies.

    Updated to WPSOLR 2.2, and now I’m seeing product tag data in search results. Thank you!

    I’m pretty sure many WooCommerce users would like to see it in action too.
