• Update:
I’m still having issue with images not being copied over to target between two sub sites under network sites. Images are either copied to the wrong directories or not at all. I’ve contacted tech support and they have not responded with a good answers in weeks. So I’m taken off one review star.

It’s nice to be able to sync content from staging site to production site. There are a couple things I’d like to see improvement on to complete the workflow.

For each post or page, you would need to be in edit mode and hit the Push button. What if you have 10 posts to sync? Opening each post and sync it 10 times is counter productive. I wish the user can simply do multi-select all relevant posts from the admin listing view and do a bulk sync action.

Secondly, there’s no way to sync images on pages or post except the feature image. You’d end up having to manually upload images to the target site. This is counter productive as well. I’ve already posted a feature request on this.

    Thank you for listening.

  • Hello Skylabb,

We have an extension that does hook into Bulk Actions to do as you described. You can find more details here: https://wpsitesync.com/downloads/wpsitesync-bulk-actions/

WPSiteSync will sync all media in a post or page to the Target site. Are you using a Page Builder or a CDN? If you are not seeing images show up on the Target when Pushing from the Source, please contact support so that they may request come logs from you to investigate why this action is not occurring. Contact support at: [email protected]

    Update:
I contacted tech support soon after the above reply by Gregg. It’s been two months and they have not resolved the issue.

Today I got a new problem – when I sync one page, another page went missing from the target site. Apparently there’s some glitch with the plugin. I’ll post the issue in more detail under Support area.

This plugin has great potential in concept. It just needs to be more stable.

    Hi There,

We’d LOVE to be able to help you with your issue but I’ve looked through our help ticket system and cannot seem to find your original complaint. I see that you and Gregg had an exchange here, but I want to make sure that we did not miss something. Could you help out by shooting us an email? If you did open a ticket before, can you give us the email address associated with it so we can track it down?

    Thanks so much!
