WPS Hide Login plugin on fresh WP installation doesn’t work

    Hello,

    I got the following.

    – Ubuntu OS v18.05.4 64-bit
    – PHP v8.0.3
    – mysql v5.7.33
    – Apache v2.4.29
    – WPS Hide Login plugin v1.8.5

    No SSL yet. It’s a fresh deployment. I just updated permalinks and installed WPS Hide Login plugin. File .htaccess contains just basics, i.e. WP’s part only.

    I’m getting the following 404 error when trying to hit a default https://ispbid.com/login URL (see yourself):

    Not Found
    The requested URL was not found on this server.
    Apache/2.4.29 (Ubuntu) Server at ispbid.com Port 80

    Have no idea what might be wrong. I already got all the same results with SSL. Just destroyed everything and rebuilt the server with a fresh WP installation.

    Please advise how to get past the above error. It holds me up from moving on with my stuff as I’d like to see all needed pieces are in place prior to doing anything else.

    I noticed that important detail is missing on my issue description:

    – WP version is 5.7

    Go to verify this :
    wp_options > option_name = ‘whl_page’ ?

    i have the same problem, similar config, incl. WPS hide 1.8.5

    my db-entry is ok at > wp_options > option_name = ‘whl_page’.

    any other idea?
