WPS hide login / New User Password does not work

Do you have some new informations for me? If I don’t get a fast solution, I will have to work without WPS hide, because I have to open the site for new users.
I would be happy, if you can help me.

With latest version of the plugin (1.5.3), the new user email has the correct URL, for me anyway.

The version 1.5.3 is exactly the version which I am using and it does not work for me. For a new user, I don’t get the screen with the generated password to change, but the login page without any data in. When I use the data in the url, e.g.
https://www.xxxx.de/?login=KurtTest&action=rp&key=xxxxxxxxxxx, with the user KurtTest and the Password, which follows &key, than the password is refused (I think because of the missing screen to set the real password).
If I than click on Lost_your_password a strange url is called and “not found” replied:
https://www.xxxxxxxx.de/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/-/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If I deactivate the plugin, everything is fine, but with the standard login adress.

Refresh permalinks and permalinks %post_name% ?

Yes, I refreshed the permalinks. I don’t use for some reasons %post_name%, but the standard page-id (number).
The behavior is unchanged. I installed the new version of the plugin, but nothing changed. I allway get the login mask, which does not work with the generated password of wordpress, because this password is not activated by the user. The link, which I see is
https://www.sitename.de/login=KurtTest&action=rp&key=yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, where sitename is the name of my wordpress-domain and yyyyyyyyyyy the generated password.
The “lost password” page does not appear.

Compatibility problem with the chosen rewrite rule.

So when I test the forgot password link everything seems to work, I get an email with a link to reset password but when I follow the link I get “Your password reset link appears to be invalid. Please request a new link below.”

Any suggestions?

I just tested with the latest version and I do not reproduce your problem.

Have you tried disabling your other 1 to 1 plugins to see if another plugin is causing this problem?

I deactivated all plugins except WPS Hide Login and instead of the screen to change the first password of a user I get the login screen, which does not work, because the new user has in this moment no confirmed password.
When I deactivate WPS hide login, everything is fine. The new user gets a link, which directly calls the page to change or define a password.
The link in that case is:
<https://www.zzzzzzz.de/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=ximevbuLGd44FOaeAKdr&login=KurtUser&gt;
With WPS hide login activated the link is:
<https://www.zzzzzzz.de/?login=KurtUser&action=rp&key=GpYJdP3jCnYk6bVrmffz&gt;
and this link produces the login page and not the page to set the password.

I think, I found the problem.
On my new site I was still working with the default configuration of WPS hide login. This configuration offers as the hided login “?login” .
The generated link for the new password for new users is than like this:
https://www.zzzzzzz.de/?login=KurtUser&action=rp&key=GpYJdP3jCnYk6bVrmffz&gt;
This link does not work.
I changed the standard to ?xy-login.
Now the generated link looks like this:
https://www.zzzzzzz.de/?xy-login&action=rp&key=CZIc7f66X35TlX6F2kmW&login=KurtUser
This link works. Here the first parameter is the new hided login and the last one login=Username.
To use the default ?login seems to cause the error, because than the login parameter for the hided login is not in the parameters.

I have on small adittional problem: My wordpress site has an url like this:
https://www.my-wordpresshome.de . My staging site has wordpress url like this:
https://www.my-wordpresshome.de/staging/
New User and password reset works now when I use ?xy-newlogin for the hided login, but the login for the staging site now gives me a page like:
https://www.my-wordpresshome.de/staging/staging/….
Because of the second staging/ this link does not work.
