WPS Hide Login and Really Simple SSL Problem

    Hi, as I mentioned, I have been using WPS Hide login for a while which I like since it is very simple, however when I installed an SSL Certificate and the “Really Simple SSL” plugin, I ran into some trouble.

    First Really Simple SSL could not detect the SSL, so I had to reload the page via HTTPS. I could not do that since the login URL with WPS hide login was HTTP. So I was locked out then changed the site urls in the database, got back in, disabled WPS hide login, and was able to use Really Simple SSL. I reactivated WPS Hide login, and saw that the new Login Url field had HTTPS, so that was good. The SSL and redirect was working properly for the site, however when I tried the login URL I got “err too many redirects”.

    Any suggestions how I can use WPS Hide Login with Really Simple SSL, or can you suggest an SSL and HTTPS setup that will work? Thanks!

  • Hi i got the same issue here… Bonjour après avoir installé le plugin ‘Really Simple SSL’ votre plugin provoque l’erreur qui suit sur la base de données lorsque j’essaies de me logguer avec une URL personnalisée. J’ai desinstallé et reintallé votre plugin c’est le même problème…

    I am using really simple SSL to… it is working but I recently started having a problem of not being re-directed to the dashboard but to /wp-admin which displays the tag “This has been disabled”

    I think it need to be updated but not sure…

    Hello @actionturtle,

    This is normal, wps hide login changes the connection URL so /wp-admin is no longer enabled but your login url configured. Default: /login
