    Hi Team,

Please can you be specific to why your plugin conflicts with WP Rocket and if its something you plan to resolve?

Warning message is “This IP2Location Country Blocker plugin does not work well with the WP Rocket cache plugin. To avoid unexpected results, we will strongly recommend you to deactivate the cache plugin.

I can’t understand why other “Caching” plugins are not flagged and work in a similar wat but are not flagged as having issues.

It worries me how this conflicts and what is causing it to conflict. I have both running side by side but don’t experience any issues at all, no errors, no issues blocking countries etc, and no issues with caching. So what is the issue you warn us about.

It be good for me and others who might use this plugin to know what is the issue and maybe we can communicate with yourself and the other developer to see if their is a solution.

    Thanks

Please note that all cache plugins will turn your pages into static to reduce page load speed, where all visitors will see the same content. While the redirection plugin is trying to load different content for visitors from different locations.

If the cache is loaded first, the redirection will not be working.

    Thank you for the reply.

Is this the same when asking the caching plugin not to cache a specific page that is used for the 403 message?

I have Norton VPN and changed the Region to a country I am blocking. Example would be Belgium.

The only page I noticed that it didn’t block is the home page. All other pages are blocked. Not the answer to the issue but the only way I could get the home page from not being accessible is by asking WPRocket “Not to cache this page” when editing it through the admin.

I need to do some investigation to why the plugin is blocking individual pages when cached but not the home page of the website.

    Any ideas are welcome.

    Thanks

Your assumptions are correct. You may set the cache plugin to exclude the pages you are going to do redirection, then the redirection will work.
