    Great plugin, thanks.

I’m new to WP and have been asked to help fix a site with a few problems. The search form works great. There is a directory which I assume is part of your plugin.

The results come out perfectly on the results page with only two issues:

    1) If you click on the URL of the business, it does not take you to their website. Mousing over the link shows that the ‘:’ is missing from the URL

    2) If you click on the name of the business it takes you to a page listing that single business (/listing/business_name). Under the name of the business, it shows the shortcode key – [wppl_single].

Can you tell me how and where to fix this issue? Remember, I am not a power user of WP.

    Thanks.

    HI,

first, i am not sure which directory you are referring to but i think it is a different plugin.
    as for your questions:
    1) i am not sure about the first question with the URL issue can you post a link to the website (to the search page)?

2)the shortcode [wppl_single] was change to [wppl_single_location] so you will need to change it in your site. i am not sure where you have placed but probably within the post content or in you single file template

There are no active plugins that should create a directory, which is why I assumed it somehow came with GEO My WP.

I’m coming into this blind and after it had all been setup. I do not know where wppl_single has been placed, I cannot find it using search/replace, I also do not see anywhere where a shortcode has been created with a wppl_single key.

Can you help me with this wppl_single shortcode? Where do I change [wppl_single] to ]wppl_single_location]?

    Thanks,

Is it possible that this shortcode has been removed? I can’t find it anywhere.

    Hi,
I can’t help you much. Usually it is either in the post content or within the single template file. I have no way to know where it is.
